Through my corporate work, I’ve supported enterprise systems used by 100K+ global users. Through byAnt, I apply the same discipline to smaller, practical tools built for everyday use.

I am Ant, the builder behind Ant-kakanat. The name stems from the Ilocano word agkakanat, meaning “a mix of different things.” It perfectly describes my approach: combining different technologies, ideas, and frameworks to build practical, focused solutions.

Built for usefulness

Tools should solve real problems, not just look impressive. Focus on utility and immediate, practical value.

Built for privacy

Personal tools should respect user data by default. Offline-first, client-side storage, and minimal tracking.

Built for real people

The best apps are simple enough to understand and useful enough to return to. Clarity over complexity, every single time.

Where words fail, music speaks.

When I'm not architecting systems or writing TypeScript, you'll probably find me with an instrument.
